BTW I used to know a Diego Leal, decades ago... but I suppose you refer to the Colombian Diego :-). Indeed there seems to be a lot of activity in Portuguese, both in Portugal and Brazil. There was recent talk of doing a series of events for all the Iberian peninsula, and they were driving it. Over here things are a bit muddled, association-wise. [Updated: Hmm, they're good. The UOC links are not new (I blush at forgetting them, they've done a lot of work on virtual communities if not CoPs), and the gabinetedeinformatica.com blog is surprising. I've been lucky to find a few more sources via my network - which is proving far better than googling with my very limited Spanish abilities. It is interesting that since Bev Trayner got involved with CoP stuff, there is a lot more in Portuguese. I have found people in Brasil willing to translate anything I point them to, and some great new colleagues in Spain to do this in Spanish. Last year Diego Leal translated a bunch of my charts to Spanish. So maybe we need to point to things we'd love to see in other languages and ask for help from our networks, then get them online?
